A quick report from the Great Lake 11/12/2011

This afternoon Bailey, Jack Seabourne and myself went looking for a suitable camp site on the western side of the Great Lake so that we can spend a few days fishing there over Xmas, wasn’t a fishing trip, we threw the rods in, had to have a few casts while we were there.

I caught a nice 3lb brown, had two other hits and the boys had a couple follow their plastics in.
Fish was caught on black & gold t.tail and released, only put in half an hour and caught my fish where some dirty water met the clear water around a point.
Wind was blowing a good 20 knot northerly, haven't been fishing much lately as I have been too busy.
That will change over the Xmas break.....
