Lake Leake 3/8/2013

Hi all, Lake leake was our chosen destination for the opening day of the trout season.
Leaving home at 6.30am , egg n bacons , coffee, along with a "nip or two of scotch" were first on the agenda when we arrived.
As expected, the weather was atrocious but we still managed to find a break in the wind at about 9.30 am.
President Bill Williams landed a nice rainbow and a brown, whilst I broke on one and missed another.

Both fish caught on Yep black n gold flappers.
Presidents Jim and Virginia caught a nice brown before being blown off the water as well.
Mike Stevens, Leon Compton along with Dale and Trevor Howard were still braving the elements when we departed, hopefully their perseverance was rewarded.
Another opening day "done and dusted" and despite everything being thrown at us "weather-wise", we all left feeling fortunate that we had made the most of the day, thoroughly enjoying ourselves.
Here's to a successful season ahead for us all.

Regards,
President Todd
