Many back issue articles are now available. Instead of being collected as "Issue 95", articles are in the process of being collected together according to their topic. Have a look at Articles in the menu, to the left of where you are reading.

Also, articles have an assciated "tag" to make searching easier. Some categories now include a google map, for example, look at Lakes.

Recreational Sea Fishing Guide
The 2014-15 Recreational Sea Fishing Guide is now available! Pick up a copy from Service Tasmania outlets, tackle shops or read it online. Fishers can use the Guide to check up on bag, size and possession limits before they head out fishing this season.

Easter Fishing News

Scallop Season Opens
The 2014 recreational scallop season opens from this Saturday, 12 April and runs until July 31.  The D'Entrecasteaux Channel remains closed to protect scallop stocks, so you cannot take or possess scallops in this area or transit through it with scallops on board your boat.  Reports last year indicated that scallop divers were most active on the East Coast from Coles Bay to Marion Bay.
