Four springs Report 01/11/2011

We fished Four Springs for a couple of hours this afternoon, wind was a pain in the bum, coming in from all directions.
Hardly any Duns on the water, 4 cars in the car park and balls of algae are starting to appear throughout the lake, especially at the southern end.

It's nearly "game over" here for a while I think... (as is expected around this time each season).

I did manage two from "very limited" opportunities, the one pictured below was about 3 .5 pounds and I also landed another around the 1.5 pound mark.

Only saw two fish rise and they were only "oncers."

Fish landed were caught on the orange bead head hung 2 ft under a dry fly.
Regards,
President Todd
